TeleHealth can be a very effective way of managing your symptoms in the comforts and privacy of your own home. Virtual home visits (online sessions) are one-on-one with your Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. Each session will be tailored to your specific needs, allowing us the opportunity to assess and provide recommendations for you while practicing social distancing. Our virtual system is easy to use, and is safe and secure and can be accessed directly through your online Jane App booking account.

Is TeleHealth covered under my health care plan?

Many extended health care providers are now supporting TeleHeath sessions. Since every provider and policy is different it is important to check with your provider if you are hoping to be reimbursed for your session.

What can TeleHealth offer?

Home Workspace Assessment & Recommendations

With so many of us working from home, people are experiencing more aches and pains linked to the setup of home work stations. A video assessment can help you optimize your workspace, provide tips on ergonomic support, and prescribe exercises and stretches to improve your posture and maintain body alignment while working at home.

Acute Injury Assessment & Management

Online sessions can be used to virtually assess your injury and provide specific recommendations for care, which may include self care (to effectively reduce pain or swelling), exercises, or advice to see your primary care provider.

Management of Chronic Pain & Flares of Musculoskeletal Injuries

Virtual assessment and recommendations can be very effective, and may include coaching you through self-mobilization techniques, range of motion, stretch, and strengthening exercises, education on how to manage pain, and direct you to online resources.

Stress & Tension

Virtual sessions can be used to deliver advice on relaxation techniques, self-care, and online supports to help you in difficult times. Somatic emotional healing approaches can be employed to recognize and release physical tension that may remain in the body in the wake of stressful or traumatic events.
